怡康中心

經疫情過後的挑戰，對於角聲怡康中心而言，更加強了我們的信念。我們一直以這句話為勉勵：「角聲」怡康長者關懷事工，讓長者們每天都是「愛的進行式」，藉由怡康長者日間護理關懷計劃，「角聲」每天為長者們提供身心健康的照顧。

有鑑於高齡化社會之趨向愈來愈明顯，「角聲」長者照顧計劃刻不容緩。因此，「角聲」2011年成立了角聲怡康中心，將老人照護列為刻不容緩的服務選項。我們提供長者生活關懷以及歌唱、藝術、舞蹈、手工等多樣化學習課程，加上營養豐富的早、午餐，定期舉辦慶生會、人生講座及藝文表演活動等。

此外，角聲怡康中心匯集了藝術愛好長者及社區藝術家，成立了「角聲怡康福音藝術團」，向社區獻出關懷之聲，藉著福音藝術匯演，向更多長者朋友傳遞福音。以藝術展現，為社區注入新的影響力，透過藝術演出把喜樂、祥和呈現給社區，極具意義！

「角聲」本著關懷使命，開辦長者日間護理服務，讓銀髮族、獨居長者在家人無法隨侍在側之時，能有一安全、舒適之園地，可以學習才藝、廣交朋友，並有機會接觸到福音，精彩地度過餘生。

時下，不少機構都在發展長者事工，但角聲怡康中心有著更大的使命。為此，我們刻意深入紐約社區，和許多老人家面對面交流，傾聽他們內心深處的需要。我們發現，長者在心靈上有很大的需要。他們為家庭付出一生的勞苦，即便現在過的生活還行，有時仍會感到寂寞，特別是當兒女成家立業後。

因此，單是物質、娛樂，只能填補長者部分的空虛。角聲怡康中心了解長者內心的煩苦，解決的關鍵就在於充實的心靈。「角聲」怡康長者事工，加倍重視長者的心靈關懷，這是我們的使命。我們有完整的關懷網，定期舉辦音樂見證會、福音茶會等，這些都是「角聲」怡康長者關懷事工，與坊間的老人中心不同之處。

我們透過全方位的心靈關懷網、多彩多姿的課程，帶給長者更多力量、喜樂和活潑的氣象，讓他們天天的生活，有數不盡的恩典和甘甜，得著更豐盛的生命！

After facing the challenges of the pandemic, our commitment to the Yee Hong Social Adult Day Care Center has only strengthened, driven by our core belief in “Love in Action.” We aim to provide both physical and spiritual care to seniors every day through our Adult Day Care program.

Recognizing the increasing trend of an aging society, CCHC identified seniors care as a critical ministry, and established the Yee Hong Center in 2011. We offer comprehensive care for seniors, through various activities, including singing, art, dance, and crafts, as well as nutritious breakfast and lunch. Additionally, we regularly host birthday parties, workshops, and arts and cultural performances.

Yee Hong has also brought together art-loving seniors and local artists to establish the “Yee Hong Gospel Art Troupe,” which contributes a voice of care to the community through gospel art performances. It is highly meaningful to use artistic performances to bring new influences, joy and peace to the community.

In alignment with our mission of care, CCHC provides day care services for the elderly, offering a safe and comfortable environment for seniors, especially those living alone to learn new skills and make friends when their family members cannot be with them. The center also provides opportunities for seniors to encounter the Gospel, leading to fulfilling and enriching days.

We have engaged directly with many elderly individuals, listened to their deepest needs, and discovered that they have significant mental and spiritual needs. Many seniors experience feelings of loneliness, especially when their children have started their own families. While material support and entertainment can address some of this emptiness, they are not enough on their own. The Center recognizes the inner struggles of the elderly, and we believe that a fulfilled heart is key to overcoming these challenges.

Yee Hong’s ministry places a strong emphasis on the spiritual care of the elderly. This focus sets us apart from other elderly care centers. We regularly host music testimonials, gospel tea parties, and other spiritual activities. Through our comprehensive spiritual care network and programs, we bring strength, joy, and vitality to the elderly, enriching their lives with grace and sweetness each day.
