A New Framework of CCHC

連橫、貫通、熱烈
Connection, Integration and Enthusiasm

我把「連橫,貫通,熱烈」說成新格局,聽起來好像有點陌生,那是因為我所提出的不是格局藍圖,而是形成美好格局的策略、視野和願望。「連橫」是推動事工的策略思維,「貫通」從屬靈視野而來。例如「成全聖徒,建立基督的身體」是屬靈視野,有這樣視野的人,不會只是著眼於自己,而是著眼於基督身體的建立。至於「熱烈」,所指的不單是心態,而是「植入」每個事工計劃與行動的強烈願望。

When I refer to “connection, integration, and enthusiasm” as a new framework, it might sound somewhat unfamiliar. This is because what I am proposing is not a blueprint for a framework, but rather the strategies, vision, and aspirations for creating a beautiful framework. “Connection” represents the strategic thinking for advancing ministry work, while “integration” comes from a spiritual perspective. For instance, “equipping the saints and building up the body of Christ” is a spiritual vision. People with this vision do not focus solely on themselves but on the establishment of the body of Christ. As for “enthusiasm,” it refers not just to the attitude but to the strong desire “embedded” in every ministry plan and action.

(1) 連橫 Connection and Collaboration

「連橫」的意思是結合所有能力,包括「弱勢」力量,去勝過強大的對手。用於領人歸主的意思是:聯合眾教會的力量,去攻破撒但的營壘,把人的心意奪回,使他們歸向基督。重要的是,「角聲」要適當運用神所賜與的所有資源,包括地方與人力資源,與眾教會一起,推動有力的城市關懷佈道事工。要緊的不是讓「角聲」繼續壯大,而是與眾教會一同壯大。

過去,我們曾以一條看不見的線,將那些珍珠般的教會串連起來,成為貴重的項鍊。「連橫」的意思略有不同,「角聲」會成為一條明顯的線,而分散於不同地方的教會或福音事工,就是許多的「點」;「角聲」應主動地連繫她們,結成一張福音的網,讓生活在其中的未信朋友,有更多聽信福音的機會。

以「角聲」與眾教會合辦的「尋道者崇拜」為例,由於敬拜神是人類的天性,故希望透過「尋道者崇拜」及深入淺出的信息,帶領未信朋友認識獨一的真神。所有崇拜均由「角聲」支持,在不同教會的名下舉行及跟進。目前有兩個「尋道者崇拜」,在不同的地點舉行。這「連橫」的模式,將可貫穿「角聲」不同事工和教會。

This involves uniting the strengths of various entities, including weaker elements, to overcome powerful opponents. For evangelism, it means harnessing the collective strength of different churches to challenge and reclaim hearts from the clutches of Satan. The emphasis is on using all the resources at your disposal, including local resources and human resources, to work collaboratively with churches, thus advancing the urban caring and evangelistic ministries. The focus is not on the growth of CCHC but on empowering and growing together with churches.

In the past, we connected churches like pearls on an invisible string, forming a valuable necklace. The concept of “connection and Collaboration” differs slightly. CCHC will become a visible thread, while churches or evangelistic ministries scattered in various locations represent many “points.” CCHC should proactively connect them, forming an evangelistic network that provides more opportunities for those who have not yet believed to hear the gospel.

For example, the “Seeker Worship Service” co-hosted by CCHC and various churches aims to lead seekers to recognize the one true God, through “Seeker Worship Service” and accessible messages, given that worshiping God is part of human nature. All worship services are supported by CCHC and are conducted and followed up under different church names. Currently, there are two “Seeker Worship services” held in different locations. This “connection and Collaboration” model can permeate ministries of CCHC and churches.

(2) 貫通 Integration and Coherence

過去,「角聲」把事工任務交給個別部門負責推動。這樣的安排,很在乎同工的能力及視野,感覺上有些「單薄」。未來,「角聲」領袖們會制訂新事工策略,讓內部事工可以環環相扣、彼此相通,分享豐碩成果。

目前「角聲」的關懷特殊兒童事工,就有類似的情况。角聲福音廣場,有專為特殊兒童提供專業服務的「融合事工」;角聲使命中心有多元服務計劃;角聲宣教士學院與教會合辦關懷家長活動,角聲生命莊園對特殊兒童家庭,有長線的關懷計劃。這樣的「貫通」情況,可讓「角聲」關懷特殊兒童事工,既專業又全面。

為了讓各部門事工有效地「貫通」,「角聲」領袖要讓同工們明白,在事工開始計劃時,已把這個「貫通」的觀念放在其中,讓「貫通」目標可以暢通無阻地實現。

In the past, CCHC assigned ministry tasks to individual departments for execution. This arrangement relied heavily on the capabilities and vision of the team members, which sometimes felt somewhat “thin.” Moving forward, the leaders of CCHC will develop new ministry strategies to ensure that internal ministries are interconnected and mutually supportive, sharing fruitful outcomes.

Currently, CCHC ministry for special needs children reflects a similar situation. Gospel Plaza has an “Integration Ministry” specifically providing professional services for special needs children; the Herald Mission Center offers various service programs; the Herald Urban Mission Institute collaborates with churches to offer parent support activities; and Eddy Farm has long-term care plans for families with special needs children. This kind of “integration” allows CCHC special needs ministry to be both professional and comprehensive.

To ensure effective “integration” across departments, CCHC leaders need to ensure that team members understand that the concept of “integration” should be incorporated from the beginning of the ministry planning phase. This way, the goal of “integration” can be smoothly and effectively achieved.

(3) 熱烈 Enthusiasm and Passion

「熱烈」不僅是一種態度,更是一個不可或缺的事工形象表達。「角聲」同工們不管是在計劃事工的時候,或是在實踐計劃的時候,都要把「熱烈」的情感,「植入」每項事工及每個行動中。

在開始籌劃角聲宣教士學院時,我們提出了「宣教年輕化」的目標,並以「鼓動青春」作為實踐計劃的標語。這個「鼓動青春」的標語,也同時表達了推動角聲宣教士學院的目標特徵及行動指引。

後來我們把這個觀念,升級為「角聲」整體事工的目標。當「角聲」的全體同工及所有的事工,都把這種「鼓動青春」的「熱烈」感情,轉化為動力時,「角聲」的新格局就形成了。人們不單看到豐碩的成果,同時也看到一個與偉大奇妙救恩相稱的見證。

“Enthusiasm” is not just an attitude but an essential expression of the ministry’s image. Whether planning or implementing ministry programs, CCHC coworkers must infuse each project and action with enthusiasm.

When we began planning the Herald Urban Mission Institute (HUMI), we set a goal of “youthful mission” and adopted “Igniting Youth” as the slogan for our implementation plan. This slogan also reflects the characteristics and action guidelines for advancing HUMI.

Later, we promoted this concept to be the overall goal for the whole organization. When all CCHC co-workers and ministries channel this “Igniting Youth” enthusiasm into their efforts, a new framework for CCHC will emerge. People will not only see abundant results but also witness a testimony worthy of the great and wondrous salvation.

For 42 years, CCHC has continuously sought change, and this “quest for change” has been one of the driving forces behind CCHC. What I hope for is that our co-workers will make the best use of the opportunities created over the past 42 years to establish a new framework with greater potential for growth, one that radiates a passion for evangelism and inspires people. Let us work together, with one heart, to open up a brand-new chapter for CCHC that is worthy of the great and wondrous salvation!

結語 Conclusion

「角聲」42年來不斷求變,「求變」是「角聲」的動力資源之一。我所期盼的是,同工們善用過去42年所營造的機會,建立一個有更大發展空間,更能散發佈道熱情,激勵人心的新格局。同心去為未來的「角聲」,打開與偉大奇妙救恩相稱的嶄新局面!

In conclusion, CCHC has been continually evolving over its forty-year history, and the willingness to change has been one of its driving resources. The vision is for all team members to use the opportunities created during the past forty years to build a new framework that is more expansive, fervently committed to evangelism, and capable of inspiring and witnessing to the greatness of the miraculous salvation.
